Her name is Waffles. She's not exactly a human, but I definitely treat her like one. She cuddles and listens to me when I talk, so why not?
She was given to me as a very early Christmas present by this guy. His name is Seth. You'll read a lot about him if you continue to follow my blog.
Seth has had a rather significant place in my life for about a year, but especially after this happened about 3 months ago...
We're getting married July 13, 2013, and we're so excited! The recent engagement has spurred on a lot of new growth in my life. Although sometimes difficult, I'm learning about my passions, Truth, how much the Lord loves me, how I best love others, how my past effects my present and future and so much more.
Here's one more plcture to leave you with... because, if you know anything about me, it just wouldn't be complete without it.
Enjoy, friends!
He is faithful.

NaNoWriMo
So, I started a blog about two years ago. But with life and everything that comes with that, it failed miserably. Lately, I've had lots that I could write about, but every time I sat down to write something, I couldn't weed through the thoughts in my brain to pick just one topic to write about. And because I knew it would be one of the few times I actually sat down to blog, I would always feel so much pressure to make my once-monthly blog the best ever.
So, then I read about NaNoWriMo and I decide, hey, what an awesome idea. How about take 10 minutes every day in November to actually write about one of the thousands of topics floating through my head.
From my recent engagement (yay!) to my sometimes overwhelming passion for Special Education, to my recent self-discoveries that have caused so much growth, to my new baby, Waffles, this new blog is sure to be filled with a variety of information. Some information may completely bore you, but hey, it's my blog, Jesus has been so good to me, and I'm going to write about it.
Enjoy, friends!
